Allen grew up in Chehalis, Washington and is a graduate of W.F. West High School. He currently resides in Chehalis with his wife Brittany and their two daughters Gwen and Mae.

Practice Areas:
- Businesses and Corporations. Allen represents a wide variety of corporate entities throughout Southwest Washington. He regularly counsels corporate clients on issues related to business formation, operations, compliance, risk mitigation, employment and personnel matters, contract preparation and review, conflict resolution, and other challenges encountered by businesses. Allen also assists clients through the process of acquiring and selling existing businesses and business assets.
- Public Utilities, Municipalities, and Special Purpose Districts. Allen serves as counsel for a number of public utility districts, school districts, water and sewer districts, cities and towns, fire protection districts, public transportation districts, and other public entities throughout Southwest Washington.
- Real Estate. Allen represents individuals, corporations, and public entities in real property matters including real estate transactions, lease agreements, boundary line disputes, timber trespass disputes, easements, and land use matters.
- Estate Planning and Administration. Allen counsels clients on all aspects of the estate planning process including the preparation of wills, trusts, directives, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. He also represents Administrators and Personal Representatives (Executors) in probate proceedings.
